Good, how are you? |
SPEAKER_01 |
Or for quorum. |
Denise Simmons |
Good morning, everyone. I'm going to call today City Clerk's Preliminary Screening Committee to order. The purpose of this meeting is to review and interview applicants for the position of City Clerk. The committee will be going into executive session because doing so in open session, conducting these interviews, will have a detrimental effect on obtaining qualified applicants. The committee will adjourn in executive session and will not return to open session. Please be advised that there'll be no public comment today. Members of the public are welcome to submit written communications to the city clerk's office at cityclerk at cambridgema.gov. Pursuant to chapter two of the Acts of 2025, adopted by the Massachusetts General Court and approved by the governor, the city is authorized to use remote participation at meetings of the Cambridge City Council and its committees. The first order of business will be to call the role of the members present. |
